He's probably under a lot of stress anyway, being an "unwed father" so maybe a Father's Day gift wouldn't be right until NEXT year when the baby is already here. Hopefully, he will be, too!

Right at this moment he is not a father.He is the person who got you pregnant. He becomes a father after the baby is born, and sticks around in the life of the child. That's what a father is.

I gave my boyfrined a father's day present before we has our son and it made him happy. I think he'll really appreciate it, especially if is really involved in the pregnancy and becoming a father.

Yeah would be a nice surprise for him. AS a matter of fact I think hallmark does make father day cards for this exact situation.

NO!! Is he likely to even be around when you have the child- or 2,4,7,10,30 years down the track!??? Don't praise him up for something the simplest of creatures can do- praise him up AFTER he has been around and proven his worth as a parent.
