I love the smell of fresh limes because they remind me of when I was a little girl. We had a house down south and I loved it there.

I've always loved the smell of vanilla. I enjoy lighting a vanilla candle, and letting the fragrance fill my home. Vanilla is what my home would smell of, when I was young, during Christmas time. Thats the only time, that I can remember, that life was perfect. My parents weren't fighting.. My brother and sisters got along..
Vanilla is just a soothing scent, for me. It always helps me to relax.

The smell of my soon to be world-famous slow cooked pork.Actually, it's the smell of my smoker, and the pork combined. I know that I will have a great meal for my family and friends when it is finished.
Although it usually takes close to 12 hours to cook one, it is worth the wait!!!

so many, fresh bread baking, the smoky smell of a wood burning fire, thanksgiving dinner, but the most comforting would have to be the freshly bathed & powdered smell of my baby while I'm rocking him to sleep.

Pine trees. Reminds me of when I was young, we lived in the country and that was my favorite smell. Even now, I can close my eyes and breathe deeply of fresh pine and it soothes me :)

hmmmm....
i'd hav to say the smell of my grandpa's sweater....
it just smells so homely and welcoming!
and it helps me remember all the good times we shared together as best buds!
and it helps comfort me when i am sad and when i miss him o so very much!
