As with anything on the internet, there is good things about it and there are bad.....Be careful what you post and who you allow to contact you.

I think it's a good thing. I've used it to get in contact with old friends and family that I don't get a chance to see and for that I think it's great.
However I don't think its a place for people to find dates and post half naked pictures of themselves - which unfortunately is another thing people use myspace for!

It really depends on what you mean by good. If you mean safe, then NO!! If you're talking about the content, generally no. If you mean for getting yourself on the web, YES!! I don't recommend getting a MySpace account, because of hackers and weird people.

The idea is good, but so many kids go on there and meet so many weird people that it's not safe like it should be. That and to many people put to many graphics on those pages. But past the weirdos going after kids and people who can't edit websites well, it's a good idea and a ok site.

i think myspace is best for musicians and other people who have something to sell (like ebay folks). it can be ok for meeting people but not super. i tried it and really thought it was just boring. most folks webpages were so egocentric and a lot of them were very very rude. i cancelled my account.

It depends on how u use it! I have my account set to private, no one but friends can see my pics or send a comment. I DON"T accept people i do not know as friends. It can be a great way to keep in touch and reconnect with people you have not seen in years.

If you set your profile to private, accept ppl that u know and dont talk 2 crazy ppl then yeah its kool..i like it because im creative and good with html, so i play around with my profile alot.. it comes out really kool once u noe how 2 do everything

I suppose it can be good if you keep your information very private - and be under your parent's supervision.
