Any chance he might be coming back to St. Louis? I know he is old and all...but he is adored/idolized here in the St. Louis area...but lately i have heard of him involved in talks with the blues on a new contract...opinions and/or proof of talks welcome.

No, he got picked up mid-season, Nashville got a raw draw in the playoffs, and they will be back to compete next year. I'm not a Preds fan, just telling the truth. Nashville is going to keep him.

Honestly, the St. Louis Blues should stay away from Keith Tkachuk. The team is on the right path towards building from within. A washed-up former 50 goal scorer with questionable leadership skills (he wasn't anything special as a Phoenix Coyotes captain a few seasons ago) is something an emerging Blues team doesn't need. The Blues should continue to build around the likes of Lee Stempniak, Erik Johnson, Barrett Jackman, Brad Boyes (who will be a good player, and make Toronto, San Jose, and Boston regret trading him in the first place), and David Backes.

First of all, he won't sign in ATL. Because Trashers will need to give up a first round draft pick to St. Louis if they sign him. And a first round draft pick worth a lot.

There is a lot of good free agent this year, St. Louis are not ready to win, they will probably still want to have a bad season to get others great picks. This is actually what they're doing for the past 3 years. They may sign Tkachuk because he wont make the team win alone and he will bring people to the game.

Who cares where he goes, he's a liability. Oh sure people like his aggressive style but he's not going to help you win a stanley cup. He does have strength and skill but attitude is easily as important and his quite frankly sucks. You can have him.

He'll go to Detroit where all washed up players who don't know when to retire go to die.
