Looking for book about Fizban the wizard?

Many years ago there was a story about Fizban the wizard who got teleported into present day. We are trying to remember the name of the book and no searches we have put out returned any helpful results. There was also an AD&D modual featuring Fizban. Can anyone help? Not sure of the spelling!

The War of the Lance is a fictional war in the Dragonlance setting, created by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman.

The Dragonlance series, available on amazon.com would be the place to start and is probably the most likely thing you are looking for, but there is more than one book in this series.
