What are your thoughts on Call Waiting. Helpful or an annoyance? I can't stand it myself using it or being put on hold.

I have it, but I never use it. I think it's rude to put someone on hold like that. It's like they aren't important enough for your attention. Boo to call waiting.

Well originally when it came out it was the coolest thing on earth...now I think it is annoying especially when it is someone who knows you are these and keep calling till you answer and tell them to freaking hold on and you will call them back LOL!! However, if I had to do without it I may be agrivated because there is a chance I might miss an important call at the same time I am talking to the phone company about something!! LOL

I like it because I can see who's calling me,while I'm already taking a call. This way I can decide,if the other call is important.
(Being put on Hold?),that depends on who put me on hold. If It's family,then I don't mind,(but I wont' wait too long!)
If I'm trying to do something such as making a doctor's appointment,or trying to call my job,then I'll hang up and call back later.

If someone puts me on hold to get the other call coming in...I was about 30 seconds and if they don't come back I hang up. they can call me back when they are done.

It's not a problem for me,I'm just not that popular enough where I get a lot of phone calls.

It is annoying at times especially leaving you on hold so long.
