He has trouble remembering to answer his phone. Should I tie it around his neck! Or throw it at his head!

It sounds to me like you are very naggy and that is the reason he never answers the phone. He actually likes going to work so he can have some piece and quiet for a few hours. If he didn't need it for work I bet he wouldn't even have the damn cell phone so he would just be able to go to work and not talk to you. Until he was coming home to see if you needed him to pick anything. I think you must confront him to why he never answers the phone when you call him. I would assume if my diagnosis is right you already know the answer!.

its not that he cant remember to answer his phone...the issue is he does not want to. you need to find out why he does not want to talk to you and work the problem from that angle. i'll tell you right now, if you're the type of women that is a constantly nagging and putting him down and being bossy all the time. he'll never pick up the phone on you.

So he does not answer the phone, maybe he is like me. I have a cell phone that I carry around for MY convenience not others who call me. If its important enough they can leave a message.

Are you sure that he has problem answering his phone he not spending time with someone else is he b/c if he hear the phone ring why not pick it up don't just look at it, or is his hand to full to answer it.

Added: If you're calling him every day with no more than 'what ya doin'? I can see why he's not answering, that would annoy the piss out of me.

I don't know about the whole sticking up the butt idea; however, perhaps you need to buy a longer leash for him.
