If you play Gamecube games on a Wii console, can you use Wii controllers for it? If so, which kind?

You will need the Gamecube controllers to play the Gamecube games. You will also need the Gamecube Memory Card as well. The Wii memory won't save the gamecube games if you want to save the game. :)

Well, since you play Gamecube Games on your Wii you still need A Game Cube Memory Card to save even though its a different console/ Once you get the Gamecube memory card insert it on the top where the gamecube remotes go. Hope this helps you.

You definitely need Gamecube controllers for Gamecube games.

There are two analogue sticks on the Gamecube controller and more buttons than there are on the Wii controller. There is only 1 analogue stick on the Wii nunchuck.

You have to use Gamecube controllers for Gamecube games. Even if you have the classic controller, it's only used for the NES/SNES/N64 games downloaded off of the Wii Shop Channel.

you can not use the Wii controller for game cube games. i believe that you need a game cube controller. you might be able to use a wii classic controller.
