i have an old honda that just got a new carburator but wont start. it's starts to turn over but the stops after like 1 1/2 seconds. the battery was fine and i think the alternator is in good condition. what do i do?

i don't think it's the fuel line or the starter because like a week ago it started fine and ran for hours on end perfectly fine.. the it did this out of nowhere

If it stops turning over after a few seconds it is your battery. Jump start it if it starts then, clean and tighten all your connections, jump it again and run for 20 min. Stop then restart if it starts the problem was in your connections, if not you need a new battery
