Independence Day! I'm in a different state camping every year at that time, and where I go, there's a magnificent display of fireworks colored red, white, and blue everywhere in the air! I just love the feeling!

The ones I remember fondly are the summers we spent in Weymouth as kids (1970's)
Every year we'd go there and every year it would be boiling hot. The beach was lovely and we stayed in a chalet (I used to think we were posh to stay in a chalet). We'd go to the club every night and stay up late. My father would take us fishing while my mother went to bingo with my nan. It was brilliant. I wish we could go back to those days.
