1) Base coat so polish adheres better.

2) Pink sheer shade 1st if you want the white tips to stand out.
If you want the white tips to be subtle, then paint them on first & apply very sheer pink over the entire nail.

3) Finish w/ top coat to protect the polish.

It's personal preference...if you want the "bright" white tips, do cream first, then white, followed by clear coat finish...
If you want it toned down a bit, for a more natural look, do the cream over the white followed w/ a clear coat...
I use OPI polish on my french finishes..I use the alpine snow white, and rosy future for the top, then a clear coat...looks pretty good...

Do clear base first, one coat of cream, white line, and another coat of cream on top. Finish with top coat.

Put the stickers on, paint the white tips,let dry completely,take the stickers off-- then paint on the clear or pink polish

yes. always use a base coat. then paint your white lines, then cover with only 1 coat of the nude color. finish with a top coat!

the girl that does my nails does clear base coat, one coat of your nude color, then the white line, then another coat of nude, then the topcoat. i think it looks the best that way.

no! first you do the white lines and THEN, thats when you put the clear coat on it. thats how i do MINE.
