The best way to get over a person is find a new person.
Life goes on time heals all wounds, do not dwell on the past if you found that loved one you will find another, they are not the only fish in the sea.
WOW look at all the cliches!!!!
But seriously, get back out there and meet someone new and you will get over them, you may not forget them but you will get over them.

Because humans are creatures of habit...and we tend to feel comfortable when we know our surroundings and the people in them.

Breaking any habit is hard...and when you end a relationship you have to realize you won't be spending time with this person anymore, so our habit is disrupted and change walks in. (Some people have more trouble than others when dealing with change.) The plans you thought could become reality are shot down and this hurts, too.

The Chinese have a saying..."Time can be your best friend...OR your worst enemy!" So give yourself time to heal and in the future, when you look back, you will see things in a different perspective. Good luck.

The fact is human emotions are not something simply able to be turned off. We cultivate our relationships to others & they grow like a wildfire, one that is hard to forget when the situations change. Our mind can scream all it likes but our hearts are not so quick to let go, especially with the hope we will return to the joy that we felt before.

Because you miss them and are sad that things didn't work out the way you hoped. You mourn the loss of your love and have to grieve. It does get easier with time and whilst you will never forget them you will be able to remember them with smiles rather than tears.

Because we have something called a "memory". We are designed to remember things. In time, the hurt will stop if you let it...but why would you want to totally forget? Remember the good times...learn the lessons...do not forget.

Most people never forget connects they have with people, what they shared and the emotions behind them.

You have to grieve for what might have been, for what could have been, for what you hoped would have been.... healing takes time. You don't really forget, but you can let go of anger, resentment etc.

I don't know what you are talking about.
I remember names, but I don't really remember them that well.
It might be that I don't spend my time thinking about "what if". I plan my future and figure out how to make it happen.
