I have read in magazines before that everyone has a different face shape and the main kinds are: heart, oval, circle, and some other kind. Well how can you tell what shape one has?

Look in the mirror with your haip pulled back and trace your face with lipstick on the mirror and see what shape you get. I did and it helped.

First, pull your hair back, away from your face and fasten it with a clip or scrungi. Next, look in a mirror. Squint a little (or close one eye) and outline your face with a marker or lipstick on the mirror. DON'T use a permanent marker!! You will easily see the shape of you face in the outline of it you have drawn.

Heart shaped is like Reese wWitherspoon with a smaller chin and wider forhead. Square is with equal width from forehead to your jaw. Oval is longer and usually thinner in width. Then circle is round, obviousely, but I dont no anything specific beyond that...

Pull your hair back and literaly take a marker and trace around the front of your face. That should tell ya.

It all depends on how the sides of your head sits,how your chin is shaped and how wide your cheek bones are.
