This has ALOT to do with the Politics section. If you don't know, oh well.. I am not going to explain.

I just enjoy this forum. Getting best answer is a bonus but thumbs up means little in this place. For every thumbs up you get, generally the opposition will double that in thumbs down.

I want my cake and I want to eat it too. I want both.
But I guess best answer is most important.

I enjoy giving people the thumbs up or down though YA did a good job lol.

Politics is the best to debate on here because atleast we don't know each other. Everytime I try to talk politics with someone I know (unless the rare instance where we agree), things can get ugly.

I just want to be able to express my opinion by telling the truth of what I think about the topic being discussed. If I get Best Answer, well then that's cool, if I don't or if alot of people don't like my answer, fine, I'll never have to meet them in person so I am not afraid to give my answers if it doesn't get the Best reaction. But I like to know there are other people out there who share the same opinions or thoughts that I have. But as far as your question goes, I usually just watch to see if I get any Best Answers of the day.

Neither........I don't expect those on the right to agree with my answers and I know I won't get chosen for best answer when I answer a Conservatives question..........This political section is infested with right-wingers and Bush supporters (much higher percent in here than in real world) and I only post here as a matter of free speech. If I'm looking to be chosen as best answerer I post in philosophy, humanities or science sections.

I answer a lot of questions that I KNOW I won't get picked as best answer to, so I appreciate the thumbs up more. Best answer is the icing on the cake.

Getting 'best answer' takes the cake, 'cause 'thumbs' don't give me nothin'. Besides, people who disagree with me can take a long hike where the sun don't shine.

I like getting both, but more thumbs up means I gave an answer that more people agree with. so I guess that would be better.
