Yes and no. I understand your point-a test is the only way to tell for certain, and none of us can make a diagnosis. Symptoms could point to pregnancy, or just be premenstrual symptoms or something else altogether. However, I think back to when I got pregnant with my now 7 month old. We had been TTC for about five years, and the month I conceived I do not think we even had intercourse so I was surprised by the symptoms and test results. Add to that that my test was so faint I thought I was imagining it, I got several other negatives after testing positive (results were back and forth, depending on the brand used)...and I would have been likely to ask the same questions. Most of the time, I do not think that they actually want to tell us that they are pregnant or not than it is they are wanting to be "grounded"-i.e. if they are reading too much into it, if it could be real, etc.

I KNOW what you mean!!!!!!! its super annoying! Before I came to the pregnancy category, I took a test and made sure I was pregnant!!! If people need symptoms of early pregnancy then the BEST thing to do is google it, not take advice from some strangers like if we would know the REAL answer!!!!!! This is more for people with experience and knowledge, not a pyschic reading!!!!! IM SICK OF IT! =-)

*30 weeks preggo!

I think a lot of people are uninformed as far as when in their cycle they could become pregnant, and pregnancy symptoms. It may seem odd that so many people on here are asking the same question. However I know myself, I go to yahoo answers for just about every question I have. When I do a search there is typically an answer. Maybe the people who are asking the question, are just sort of clueless and looking for a little direction, and looking for sites where they could become better informed. If they don't know much about the topic, why go out and buy a $15 pregnancy test or have to make a call to your family doctor, explain your situation, just for him to say "not pregnant". Just my opinion.

My favorite is, "How do I tell if I'm pregnant without taking a test?" Honey, if you're too scared or ignorant to buy yourself a test, or can't afford $3, then you are in big, big trouble if it turns out there's a baby on the way. Having a baby is a tad more complicated than spending a couple bucks and peeing on a stick.

THIS IS IN RESPONSE TO BROWN SKIN***** This is a PREGNANCY section. For people who are actually PREGNANT, not for those who are just thinking they might be and are not willing to take a HPT. I am so sick of teenage girls asking "Do you think I'm pregnant ?" too. How the hell should we know? I get on here to see what's going on with all the other expectant moms not to try to be some carny man guessing if someone is pregnant or not.
I am just going to start responding to the question with three words :
Take
A
Test

Funny, I was just thinking the same thing, and I saw your post. Either you're pregnant or you're not pregnant. There is no inbetween. There are many stupid people. That is why I enjoy reading the questions. I get to laugh at all the dumb-asses.

No S___t. We are no longer in the dark ages. Get it together and take a test. Period. If it is negative, wait a while - still no Aunt Flow then take another...still negative. You are 99% not pregnant - schedule an appointment with your doctor to see what your story is and leave us folks online ALONE.

I soooo am too! But I always get thumbs down when I tell them to take a test. OR I get a violation for telling these women to take a test. I don't get it. Why don't they do a search and see the THOUSANDS of other questions that are just like theirs and find an answer that way if they don't want to take the test. . . .
