how much is the house going up for sale and remember i want half and i told her that she will only get 5000 and me too and i got back thats not enough i want more than that
i will do it through my lawyer then and thought things where getting better obviously not and i will file for divorce too this made me like **** as it was me that paid for the dam house in the first place

and i told her 3 days ago that the house is getting sold and im going to oz to study then she was like not happy as she now that she would never see me again and she kinda changed and said we will see if we can make it work and i was going around to hers for dinner and now all this what do you think she is up to as i have a feeling about something but wanna see if it is the same as you think too

yes we have one child im her setp dad and he left her and said never want to see you again so this is making it hard for me to go but im not getting used by no one and the mrs says but what about her and she knows when she dose this i help out i think she is just using the child to get to me if so then that no nice at all

and house in my name only and bought before we were married too and only for 18 month

and i dont have to give her anything just giving it so she can look after the child that all but she not happy with the 5000

if the house isn't in joint names get it sold fast and get off to OZ

If it is in joint names you might well be stuffed.

sounds like she is playing games and she is a loser.did you get a prenup? had you bought this house before you were married? if you did she might not be entitled to anything otherwise in a community property state the judge decides a fair division of property.that's the way it works in Michigan.also now in Michigan if a spouse is unfaithful during the marriage or separation they can be sent to prison! only you know the truth but if you think you have valid reasons to not pay get a lawyer.good luck.

Are there any children involved here?
You may have bought the house, but depending on where you live & how long you were married will weigh heavily into how the money from the house is split.
If you want to make a clean break from her do it the right way, karma does exist & why drag bad karma with you into your new life.

My husband paid for our house. My name was never on the deeds. When we divorced ( amicably i must add) I was only entitled to half of equity of the house ( the value in which it has risen since bought) this was 5,ooo ( the house price has risen by 10,000 english pounds).
