I always take two just to make sure I didn't make an error on the first one. My first two test this time were so faint that I also took a digital just to confirm. I was only 7 dpo at that time. I am now six weeks.
Congrats!

There are such things as 'False Positives'........
I took 2 HPT's and they both came back 'Positive'. A week later, the doctor took a blood test, which came back Negative.
Maybe wait a couple more days and take another test. I'd wait until I'm guaranteed before announcing. Once you announce your expecting, it's hard to retract it.
I'm just giving you another side of the coin.
Aside from all that........Congratulations on your pregnancy.

If you received a positive result, there is no need to waste money on another. You are more likely to get a false negative than a false positive. Congratulations! YOU ARE PREGNANT!
As far as telling people, that is up to you. I have history of miscarriage, so we waited a few weeks before we told anyone. If this is your first pregnancy, tell away! Good luck!!

well hunny when i found out i took 3 lol i just knew that the test was wroung but come to find out they are more likely to say negative than postive if wroung because it tests for hormone levels so if it was neg then maybe you were not far enough but postive then chances are very high that you are pregnant so if it will make you feel better ,it did me, take another just to be sure. then tell everyone the great news. good luck and congrads on your baby.

Tell your partner NOW! Maybe wait until after seeing the OB to tell close friends and family. The rest of the worldcan find out after the first trimester, when the chance for miscarriage is drastically reduced.

Telling who? Go to the doctor get it confirmed. Then only tell the people you are extremely close to. Most women don't tell anyone but the father to be prior to 12 weeks after that your chances of miscarrying drops drastically.

Congradulations, first i would advise you to confirm it with a medical doctor. Most people dont like to share the news with everyone untill they are in there second trimester, just to be safe.

I would go to the doctor to get it confirmed. But you could start telling people when ever you want.
