Studied different subjects and concentrated on ones I sucked at. Studied in my spare time for almost one month, one hour a day and more on the weekends. Didn't watch TV much or go out with friends. I wanted a high score.

I took it around 1995 and got a 1230 with no preparing at all. I even went out and got drunk the night before. I was lucky. The second time I had a good breakfast and felt prepared. I scored lower that time (about 1190). It was the math section that killed me both times. I had very high scores on the other half.

I don't know how that translates to the new SAT scoring scale.

didn't take the SAT, took ACT instead and scored 31. I went to the Prom the night before it so there was very little studying.

Last year I got a 99%, you can't really prepare for the SAT you just need to pay attention all year long and think things through

1045 and I studied for a total of an hour. It was easier for me to just wing it than destroy my mind with garbage. None of the crap in the practice book I studied was on the damn test anyway, what a freaking joke.

my most helpful way? uh, it wus doing math problems, since thats my weak point. also i highly sugest taking the test twice, the second time, i wus not nervous or worried at all becasue i already did it, and i got a much better score, 20 points higher in the math section the second time around ♥
