Micahel wouldn't like that. In Canada if he went for treatment they would tell him to lose weight so he is below 45 kg overweight. If he didn't drop the pounds during the 4 to 8 week wait he is subject to having the surgery cancelled or rescheduled.

He'll never leave because he knows he doesn't take care of himself, and he wants to be near a good American hospital when his health fails. (Come on, do you really think he'll go to Cuba?)
Ooo. looks like I hit a nerve. Yes I know about the yellow fever vaccine, But that was in 1937. Have they done anything since the glorious revolution? Don't talk about the infant mortality rate being lower then anywhere else in Latin America, that was before Castro's time too. Since then the rest of Latin America has been steadily catching up. Nice labeling job though, and such big words too.

Keep dreaming. Why should liberals leave America? Most blue-staters make a lot more than red-staters, who conveniently vote against their own financial best interest, thus lowering rich blue-stater's taxes. We can afford to be liberal, while most red-staters vote on moral issues that will never be settled or changed and ultimately, shoot themselves in the financial foot.
By the way, Cuba has plenty of very good doctors and scientists. Who do you think invented the vaccine for yellow-fever. I'd avoid making ignorant, xenophobic assumptions, if I were you.

That wouldn't be fair to Canada they have enough problems without a bunch of american liberals crying over people defending themselves against the poor persecuted robber who was shot while trying to murder his victim... as for socialized healthcare the gov't if it is to exist has the responsibility to provide for the people. Medical is extremely basic.

I don't get it, we ALL pay for the military, whether we like it or not, and that includes any insane, probably drug induced, ideas like MKULTRA or the "gay bomb", yet we all can't have health care. What's up with htat?
