Seriously if you do these two things everything else will fall in to place. Talk and listen. Talk about things that matter and listen like you two are the only people on earth. It works!

Always keep the communication strong
Express your love for your spouse regularly
Compliment your spouse on a daily basis
Buy them something nice once in awhile and just not to get lucky!

Make them and family a priority over money and your job!
If they ever mention counselling to resolve a problem be open to the idea.
Take a vacation atleast once a year or a big one every couple of years.
Spend quality time together daily
Never control each other!
Be willing to take long breaks from sex for no reason what so ever.
If your a father/mother be a good one but do not let it become to a point of neglecting your spouse.
Never bring up the topic of divorce unless there is no other option.

just remember as your marriage deepens, things will get rocky. Youll have kids, money problems, and there will be exhaustion. It will be good at first, spend plenty of time loving, and holding eachother. But when that fades away, get some alone time. Take her to the places you did before you got married. KEEP ROMANCE ALIVE! thats the main thing. Romance doesn't need to stop once your married.

Just give your wife lots and lots of attention, everything else comes easy after that. You'll start talking, wanting to go out, buy her flowers. Be spontaneous, for example out of the blue just right her a love letter , or cook for her. Try it . It works great for me.
