As long as its just the fin that's damaged the fin will eventually grow back, so I'd not worry about it. However, you don't mention what barb it is you have, most small barbs play rough and they don't mind if its with there own kind or other fish, obviously kept in shoals they tend not to bother other fish but on there own they will fin nip.
Just keep your eye on the guppy for any sign of infection but it usually doesn't do any serious damage as long as water conditions are good.

try adding a teaspoon of sea salt and get the temp aroung 80. The seasalt should start the healing process however the chances of the tail growing back will take some time. The temp at aound 80 should stimulate the growth some.

Put the guppy in a small tank away from the other fish.

It was a big mistake to put a cichlid in with these type of fish. The guppy's tail won't grow back. The best you can do is put Stress Coat in the tank to protect what is left of him.

The tail probably won't grow back, but you should re-home your Barb. They are semi-aggressive towards other fish. The rest of your tank seems as though it should get along well as they're all of the same temperament.

It may grow back depending on the damage. Try to protect the rest of it. Use a stress coat. It may grow back but it will take awhile.
Tetras should be in schools.

It sounds like they may have tail rot. Your local Aquarium store has the chemical you need to put in the water.

There is something you can get at your local pet store. it helps fins grow. It is really for fin rot but it helps alot. also find something for stress like when you change the water. the stuff you put in then really helps. put him in a separate tank and do it
