According to your needs, I would say go with a PSP. First of all, you seem to travel a lot, so I would automatically recommend a handheld so that you can use it during travel instead of only where you have a power outlet. Besides wii and especially wii sports is a lot better in groups than single-player.

So between the DS and PSP, I would vote for PSP. I have both, and both have their advantages and drawbacks. The games on DS are fun, but that's pretty much all it can do, play games. The graphics on the PSP are far superior to the DS, rivaling graphics found on the PS2. The PSP has a decent library of games (not as good as DS), but it can also play movies, both off of a UMD as well as off a memory stick. The only drawback is that the video needs to be in the proper format, but there is free conversion software available online. The PSP can connect online to surf the web, play mp3 music files, and store pictures. If you do get the PSP, I would recommend saving up to get a larger capacity memory stick as soon as possible. The 32mb one it comes with barely holds anything besides game save files.

By the way, Daxter and a UMD movie for $10 is a steal. I don't know what movie that is, but Daxter got great reviews from most gaming sites.

You don't have enough for a system. Unless your parents are willing to pay the difference.
