Well literally no.. That is impossible. How would you get up the creek in the first place? Unless of course you drifted up creek.. But why would you do that without a paddle? Now I know of a time when you WOULD however be up creek without a paddle.. More commonly refered to as when you are in trouble in some way, shape or form. :)

Yes with cars.
One time, I did a 360 and ended up driving the right way
(fine) down the highway, never stopped.
Lesson - sometimes it's better to go with the flow.
Another time, my car broke down on a lonesome stretch.
Me? Stupid and helpless. My angel of mercy was the tow
truck from Hell. It took me some distance to the nearest
town. Left my car to the vultures and at the car rental I found
out my only credit card was MAXED out!!!
Last time was in a northern town, I parked my car on the
road. It was so icy that when I touched the side of my vehicle
it just slid off into the ditch. No paddle here, just help from
friendly locals and a winch.
Never driven into the creek yet, but a few have managed that.
Always keep an extra paddle in your car and in your life.
(...and wear that life jacket too!)

Yes. I was walking in it, so I didn't need a paddle. I did need help from my friends getting back, though, when I stepped on a big thorn!! Ouch.
