Not having a toenail must look gross. But neither your gross nor your bada$$ factor as a person has anything to do with your toenails.

hahaha. breaking a foot and having to wear a cast is bada$$ but losing a toenail is kinda gross.

Congrats on the marathon. About the toenail......... man that really sucks. Had to have hurt like hell. I don't think it makes you a bad@ss as much as just a he-man with super human pain tolerance. *shudders* I can't imagine.
Actually........ it makes you a badtoe. ;) (But a great runner!)

But some people's toe nails just fall of during races. It could be your running shoes. Or maybe your toe doesn't fall back down during a race. Oh, and next time, try cutting them down before the race. That usually helps, lol.

That's nothing. I competed in an international patrol competition when in the military. My team won but a piece of my heel had to be removed from my foot.
