Can someone tell me what an international film is, written in an short essay form.

That's too broad a term. Most US movies are watched the world over, and have international as well as domestic boxoffice grosses. There ae companies that specialize in buying the rights to films made in foreign countries and distributing them in another country, although the major US studios are doing a lot of that themselves nowadays.

The term international film is a term that was generated in the masses of pop culture. It is a film that is shown in many different countries in many different languages. Some prime examples are blockbusters like, Spiderman, Shrek, and Pirates of the Caribbean. Some animated movies, The Lion King, and other disney movies, and foreign films. I hope I was some help.

An international film is one that it's message is not restricted to the enjoyment of one particular nationality.It is a film that like the literary work of Cervantes," Don Quixote", when translated into different languages will move the whole world into thought ,laughter or tears.
