see you and think your not really sick? I need somethings from the store and all the bus drivers know my car and I don't want them to think I am playing hookie and tell on me.

I WAS sick and I DID go to the store for my medicine and my employer DID SEE me. They pretty much have to take you at your word.

Go ahead and go out.

I started worrying about that after one day. I was in an accident and my car was totaled. I called in to the office explaining what happened and said I wouldn't be in that day as I had to buy a new car. I was walking down the street that day walking to the insurance office to make up the plan for my new car I just bought. My boss drove by and saw me walking. The next day, I was in the break room and he comes up to me and says he saw me walking down the street. It's really creepy that no matter where I am, someone knows where I am. Ever since then, every time I wasn't at work, I was worried someone knew where I was.

Played hooky from middle school & was approached by one of my teachers in a dress shop just after school.
Yes I got reported , Mom was notified & I lost some trust & privledges. Losing the trust, hurt both Mother & myself~~jill
This was a long time ago. I remember it, oh so well.

We all have! Now the solution to your problem is found in three easy to remember words:

Home Delivery Pizza

Leave the shopping for a while, put your feet up and relax... and if there is anything apart from food and drink you require then a good tip will normally persuade the delivery boy to nip to the nearest 7-11 or corner shop to pick up what you need.

Take it easy!

If you go to the store, make sure you have some cough syrup or whatever will help with your so called "sickness" that way if you do get busted, you can act like you were just picking up some medicine..... worked for me!

No, I live 65 miles from the Office. I doubt anyone would notice me at the store I go to

No but I've had to go to AA meetings because of a DUI, and been worried about going to the liquor store when it was over, and someone from the meetings seeing me go in. Does that count?

F them. Go to the store. Do people not need medicine when they are sick? If anybody says anything, tell them that you went to get cold medicine, or tampons, or something emergency-like.
