"Captain" Derek Jeter has had a "great career" in New York.
There's no doubt that it's Jeter's team.

They both started playing at the same time, but A-Rod played for Seattle and Texas while Jeter has played his entire career in New York. I'd have to say Jeter. Also, besides pitchers, center field and shortstop have always been the premier positions in the game.
