I think the obvious answer would be Sub-Zero.
Why? Oh, I will tell you why...
When an animated character is a part of the video game universe, his strength is increased or decreased based upon the time one spends playing his character. This pretty much kills off Robocop and the Surfer...and to a lesser extent Batman.
That leaves us the X-men and Sub-Zero. I think you have to give an edge to Sub-Zero based on fatalities alone. Shattering your frozen opponent with an uppercut? Yes, please.

One would think the X-men would invite Batman,Robocop,Silver Surfer, and Sub-Zero to join their organization. But that's just my opinion, it may not mean much. I know we're talking about two different comic book groups, but still, such an alliance would be so cool.

sub zero? Silver surfer would rock, unless maybe all the xmen, robocop and batman teamed up and did something unbelievably crazy. either way, all of them would be dead because the silver surfer was chilling there and even if he lost somehow, galactus would come and destroy everything.

silver surfer he's a cosmic based being none of the else are. so my money goes on the surfer (kind of a no brainer for nerds) ack hold on i forgot wolverine is practically a god, didn't nitro reduce him to adamantium and nothing else? and he came back not to mention phoenix if you use that incarnation, then again is galactus there cause surfer is herald again mwahahaha hulk to smash the illuminati soon i hope. -edit- guy above me doesn't seem to realize that galactus will not die till end of universe nothing has been said such for phoenix. and he has a world ship and the other x-men can't breath in space. and well come on even thanos has never killed him or silver surfer and thanos is badder than jean grey phoenix any day of the week.

X-Men, obviously there's like 50 of them by now. Plus Phoenix alone is stronger than anyone you mentioned including the Silver Surfer. She once ate an entire planet!
The X-Men would beat the rest of the group even if they banded together to fight them.
Guy below me isn't enough of a nerd to have read the Phoenix storyline in X-Men apparently.

Well X-Men is multiple characters you should decide what character they chose to represent the X-Men. If you chose the professor, then I chose him....cause he just can switch bodies with anyone thats a vegetable....(unless thats only in the movie and not accurate to the comic....)
