i know. Buy a cage. a big cage. put them in the cage.
Move them to a place where it has what the hermit crab needs. besides the apartment. and feed them on breaks.
There is another suggestion. Move to a different apartment.
That allows hermit crabs.

What state do you live in? I own hermit crabs and am a member of www.landhermitcrabs.com I am sure if you post on there that you are looking for a good home for them that you will be able to adopt them out.

Where do you live because I would love to have some more crabs if you live near me. Otherwise, find a friend who would take them or you can do what I do when I go to the beach and cant have animals in teh hotel. Put them in a small carrying cage(they love to climb) and just keep them, its not like they cause crazy amounts of noise and when ppl come to your apartment put the cage in a closet.

If you go to http://www.hermitcrabassociation.com we have an adoption section that you can give or sell your crabs to caring crab owners. You do not have to join to adopt out your crabs at our site.

You could try talking to local elementary/middle school teachers. They could be useful as a teaching aid, or just as a class pet. For instance, my teacher in third grade had some to help teach us responsibility.

I have never heard of that one, but you have many options:
You can offer them to a teacher for her classroom....be sure she knows how to take care of them.....
You can contact a reptile rescue group and they probably will take them and find a good home for them...
You can also try to sell them on Craigslist or any other classified pet site.....
You can also take them back to the pet store that you bought them from, as many take them in and try to find them homes..
