I totally agree. I am a white man married to a Latina woman. True love doesn't see color.

Race doesn't matter Sweetie but be all come from different cultures and being ignorant of the responsibilities required in other cultures and religions can be a difficult thing. For example Asian cultures believe in love as a more temporal short term relationship than do Christian based cultures. Also in marrying an Asian girl a man is considered responsible for supporting the extended family also. There are differences and you have to know and explore the differences.

In a purely theoretical sense you are correct, But in the real world people are shaped by their experiences and it is not unusual for people of different colour, race, and ethnicity to experience life differently solely because of these factors.
I don't think that any relationship should be limited on the basis of these artificial dividing lines, but the reality is that until prejudice is wiped out they will have an effect.
In the meantime let's keep your optimistic thoughts as a rallying point for the destruction of bias.

Do you know the story of the good Samaritan? They were hated by the Jews because they were only 1/2 Jewish...Jesus used that story to teach that racism is a sin.
My sister is white, her husband is black...they have two sons and another boy on the way. They are both great people and a good match. I don't care about my brother-in-law's skin color or the color nephews' skin. The are family...fellow human beings...they are wonderful.

I never could understand what the colour of a persons skin had to do with anything.....it's what's underneath that matters....we're all the same regardless of colour, religion, race or anything else for that matter.....I have friends who have different colour skin to me...so what...they're good friends.

man is man, woman is woman, regardless of color. you are right. all i really care about in a person, is they breath, and have a pulse. the way i see it. we all talk the same way, we all walk the same way, we all work, we all breath, we are all humans. i look atthe personality of the person. not the race. my 9 year old son was brought up the same way. he has black friends, white friends, spanish friends, and some friends i dont knat they are. people are people regardless. im sick of the racist crap also. and love is love, no matter if interracial or what.
