approximate orbital speed = 29.783 km/s
earth diameter = 12,756.32 km

time = 12756.32/29.783 = 428 seconds = 7.133 minutes

If you meant circumference (like if it were rolling) it's...
approximate orbital speed = 29.783 km/s
earth circumference = 40,075km

time = 40075/29.783 = 1345 seconds = 22.41667 minutes

Around eight minutes. I don't know the exact figure, but our orbital velocity is about 60,000 MPH, and Earth is about 8,000 miles in diameter, so it works out to something like eight minutes to go 8,000 miles.

Distance earth to sun is about 149.500.000 km
Length of Earths orbit = 2 * pi * 149.500.000 = 939.300.000 km
Speed of earth = 939.300.000 km/year = 107.200 km/h

Diameter earth =12756 km
=> Time = 12756/107.200 = 0,119 hour = 428 seconds

The nature and existence of dark matter is not yet confirmed. Dark matter is just a way to explain the hold galaxies have on each other. Whether it exists or not is still a matter of debate.
