Like if a runner is on first, and a batter hits the ball and passes the runner, the batter is the one that is out for passing the runner, right? I can't remember which one should be out.

The runner who does the passing is always the one who is out. This rule would not apply if the runner passed had been obstructed and that was why he was passed.

The ball remains live.

The trailing runner who passed the runner ahead of him is out. All other runners may continue to any bases to which they are entitled, however. Tim McCarver once passed a runner between first and second after hitting a grand slam, and got a 3-run single for his trouble.

The one who gets passed is out and then you should buy him some pills to make him faster or you could try to trade him if you think he could have ran faster but i would just bench him and make him pay me his salary
