Yes its true we are being shafted by our own government. There doing everything they can to ruin what used to be a great nation. And saddly everyone sits back and soaks up all the media propanganda. What is not realized is that the media only says what the crooked government wants us to hear. People need to open there eyes before we become the next communist country.

It's funny that you didn't mention one lost right in your little sermon. I haven't lost any rights, which have you lost?

I realize it and a few others, but the majority of people just sit back on their complacent, materialistic ideals and do nothing.

35% of the voting population actually vote. The rest just sit back and let the legislators mutilate the constitution whenever they see fit. Most people are happy not knowing what is going on because until something affects them personally it is intangible.

Even though most legislation has some affect on everyone it is not noticable. One day when the prison camps are built and we can no longer speak our mind, the population is going to wonder what happened.

even as Jefferson replaced into speaking of God contained in the structure he probably replaced into no longer making a differentiation between deities besides the very incontrovertible truth that he himself replaced right into a Deist. What that's declaring is that we get our rights from a larger ability and by no ability some authorities and that the authorities is there to guard those rights.

Many people realize it.

In 2006, 32,000 Americans were deprived of their right to live by misinterpretation of the 2nd Amendment. I'm joking....its 31, 759...

The Patriot Act, and Bush's spy program, took care of the other constitutional rights.

Nice statement. But still, what are you talking about, if it is the Patriot act. That died a while ago. They are trying to bring it back up under different names but still have not come back up. And second we do not have all rights that our founding fathers gave us yet. Read and learn before opening mouth and inserting foot.

I think most of us know, the problem is that most people don't care. They are too busy pursuing profit and personal wealth to be bothered by issues such as personal rights and freedom and self government.

I wouldn't so much call it rape... America so far has been consenting to have fewer rights every year. It's more of an abusive relationship, you don't want to say no because something bad might happen.

I think it's time for a break-up.

every act of congress that is approved by the president, i.e. new laws chip away at our freedoms and increase our dependency on government. making voters dependent on government is exactly how governments try to hold on to their power. we need more libertarians. they understand the simple answer is personal freedom AND individual responsibility
