I jump in the shower first, it helps me wake up. Im sometimes in there for 20 minutes.. brushing teeth takes about 5 minutes.. i get my teeth looking good but can do it fast, and getting dressed is about 10 minutes. so maybe an average of 40 minutes some days.

Do you breathe through your mouth when you sleep? I do and I have to drink a bottle of water before I can do anything in the morning. Before I started doing that, I would have the same problem. My throat gets very dry (so much so that I've even coughed up superficial blood in the past) and not even rinsing my mouth in the shower can help it. Try having a full glass of water before getting in the shower. See if it helps at all. I don't know about the time difference though. Maybe its that your body is adjusted to wake up at a later hour (as you do on the weekends) and when you wake up early to go to work, you could still be taking deeper breaths as your body is expecting to still be asleep at that hour.

Probably about an hour and 20 minutes. I don't rush it and I do other things in between getting ready like pack a lunch, make the bed, run the dishwasher.
