I just finish Math A or Math 2 as it is known. I want to take Math 3 or B over the summer in a period of six weeks. Do you think this is a good idea why or why not?.

Keep in mind that I am an ok student in Math, I can Manage a solid B plus.

i think it is a good idea but u need to be careful about the accelerated program. if u have to take a math beyond those, the accelerated course tend to not cover as much or as in depth so later classes may be more difficult

I've never heard of Math A, B, 2 or 3. Are you sure that's not just what they call them at your particular school? What is the actual name of the course?

If you have the time and am confident that the accelerated course is no problem, then it is a great plan. It will be one less class to worry about during the school year.

yes it is a good idea because no matter what you do in life you will always be doing math. and math is always good because most people don't like math because they say it is to hard and then you will be able to distinguish yourself from everyone else. and math skills employers will like the fact that you applied yourself in a hard subject

Since it will be the only course you take, it should be that much easier.
