GREETINGS, Hi Cookie, are you being treated for the infection? With lymphedema when you get infections it can be serious, it's called cellulitis, a staph or strep infection of the soft tissues. Have you had treatment for your lymphedema?
Any invasion, tattoo, needle prick or otherwise in an infected lymphedema area is very serious. An infection can go systematic, sepsis, and take your life.

I'm a pretty smart guy and I've been around the block a few times but I have no idea what lymphdema is, but kankles are kankles and they need to be covered. Use anything you can find, it really doesn't what, an old paint bucket, bowling ball bag, a used car muffler you found on the side of the road, anything. I hope your tooth infection cleared up too!
