I mean...what if they are all part of the big picture. Maybe they are just different elements of the same nature. Please don't get deffinsive and bash this point of view or leave a nasty answer, it's just a what if question and I was just wondering if anyone has thought of this before.

yes, actually. Or rather:

I believe in God, & I believe in science (& I can even bring the 2 together in my mind without conflict--I don't see how the one automatically cancels out the other)
I believe in the POSSIBILITY of aliens & ghosts. I've never had any personal experience, though, to confirm it. There are plenty of things unexplainable, & when that many people report independently about a ghost, well, then I must consider it possible. Aliens are more likely than ghosts, by my reckoning. And by aliens, I mean intelligent life elsewhere in the universe. I doubt they look at all like we imagine them, tho...

The bigger picture here is.. what you believe is what matters to you the most. You can believe anything you want, even when others disagree but still somehow you will manage to see the bigger picture in it. Wether you believe in Aliens or an Animal gods. Each has their own reason to believe and it tells the way you live and where you live. Anywhere you go on Earth, you will find tribes and villages with their own belief system and each with it's own bigger picture which is crucial for their survival as a whole and that bonds them together.

I don't believe in ghosts, if they really existed more sane people would have seen them.
I don't know whether to believe in God, it is a question I debate with myself frequently. I certainly don't believe in some guy with a beard and while robes. I'd like to think there is a God, but I see no evidence of it hence the agnosticism.
Science I definitely believe.
Aliens - they are probably out there, but it is extremely unlikely that any human will ever see one. The universe is too large and time to large for us to come across other intelligent lifeforms.

I believe in ghosts
I don't believe in god
I believe in science (somewhat)
I don't believe in Aliens, but i do believe there is intelligent life out there.

Now for the explanations:

I believe that there are ghosts. I don't have any rational explanation to explain it, but there are many things that have happened that don't have any explanation but that someone did it, and there was no one else there.

I don't believe in god. (Sorry for anyone that is offended by this) I feel that it is silly to believe that there is some all-seeing force that controls all our decisions, that has set out a purpose for EACH AND EVERY person in the world (that's like 20 gazillion!) I don't believe there is a heaven or hell either. I believe that we are reborn. What do people claim they see when they have a near-death experience? A WHITE LIGHT! What would you think you unconsciously see when you are born? A WHITE LIGHT! Coincidence? I think not.

Science is just acts and educated guesses around the world around us to try and make the world a less scary place.

As for Aliens, there really isn't a such thing as aliens, because , technically if there is inteligent life out there then we would be aliens to them. BUt it is kind of conceited to think that we are the only living things in our entire UNIVERSE!

Actually yes. All of them. And, I think you may actually be on to something. You're not a philosopher or something are you? Just joking. But, I definently do think you might be right about this.

Really... All four of those things could be what say... created Earth, and life on Earth. It's a strange thought, but hey... Who knows. I mean, especially if you believe in the afterlife and rebirth. It could all mean something when put together.

But, I think this is a bit much for our time and century. Maybe will figure something out in a few centuries or millenia. Who knows?

hi Mike! i'm a christian additionally. it is my take on the alien factor! first of all christians have no longer something to worry relating to the extraterrestrial beings. no longer something can touch you till the Lord enables. i think that extraterrestrial beings are in basic terms the fallen angels. candy and straightforward (nicely no longer that candy). They have been forged into the heavenlies and that's the section between the earth and Heaven. We could keep in mind the angels have a reasonably greater intelligence then us on the 2nd so they're able to extremely some issues that we presently won't be able to do. (that one and all variations in our destiny, relax certain) I relatively have heard others say they have spoken with the extraterrestrial beings or perhaps come across them. i does no longer provide them a 2nd seem because of fact they're and continuously have been, as much as no good. keep in mind they had to be like the main extreme and have been forged out of Heaven because of fact of it. maximum mandatory they're lead by utilizing the great deceiver himself so it would be a mistake to settle for something they provide or say. in basic terms my take! This grew to become into an exciting question, thank you for asking!

Yes I believe in all of them. Well, I believe in God and science. Enough proof of those & even if there weren't I have faith that they exist. I have some proof of ghosts, I have no proof of aliens but I believe it's a possibility...

I am open-minded. I know that there is more to this world than meets the eye...

ghosts = no or I would have seen one by now as I am open to everything.

God = no as this is just a bunch of made up stuff and they have found that parts of bible were hidden in the Vatican and that translations were wrong and bad and so none of it can be proven true - and if there was such a being or whatever - I would know by now

Science = YES it has been proven over and over and over and is contrary to the myths of the other options

aliens = no - somebody would have proof just like with the loch ness monster and big foot - if you can't prove it by now = you ain't gonna prove it ever.

Total = 3 absolutely no and one absolutely yes.

1. Biology adequately describes life and emotions without appealing to mystical invisible dieties

2. Astronomy adequately describes the formation of stars/planets/universe/etc without appealing to mystical invisible dieties

3. Geology adequately describes the evolution of the Earth, land formations, etc without appealing to mystical invisible dieties

4. Psychology describes the human psyche better than appealing to mystical invisible dieties

5. Appealing to mystical invisible dieties is an appeal to ignorance

6. There's no physical evidence for the existence of mystical invisible dieties

7. A myriad of mystical invisible dieties have been posited by emphatically superstitious societies and have been proven to be products of overly active imaginations (today's religion is tomorrow's myth) and ignorance.

8. Believing in mystical invisible dieties seems to become quite absurd when those who posit the mystical invisible dieties begin explaining why and how they exist in the face of contradictory physical evidence.

9. As scientific knowledge increases, the role of the mystical invisible dieties oddly gets pushed further and further back.

10. Mystical invisible dieties are mystical invisible dieties (ie can never be found by empirical methods)

11.The probability of aliens is high, but to date, there's no proof.
