Has anyone had success using the electronic "sea bands" which you wear around your wrist and that deliver an impulse to the accupressure point for nausea? I tried the regular bands and they didn't do anything - the button was too big to stimulate the point. Please, I just need info on that specific remedy, not any other morning sickness remedies - I've tried them ALL and nothing works for me - this is my 4th pregnancy. Thanks, ladies!

I have not used it personally. I tried the regular "sea bands" like you did and they didn't do anything for my morning sickness. In fact, the little button that is supposed to push on the pressure point, pushed on my tendons instead and caused pain. The accupressure point is deep inside the wrist, between the two tendons so it seems the electronic impulse would be more direct.

My friend tried the electronic relief bands and had 100% relief from her motion sickness. She used to always make me let her sit behind the wheel b/c she would get sick in the passenger seat!

With my next pregnancy I am going to invest the money and buy the electronic bands b/c hers is not the only success story I've heard. Besides, I KNOW the accupressure point for nausea works, because I can stimulate it myself using my finger and it brings relief, but it is impractical to keep one finger pressed on your wrist all day long when you have morning sickness so why not try the band that does it for you?

My friend tried them. They were given to her by her uncle, who's an OB/Gyn. She said they really helped her. It's worth a shot!!! I don't know if you have tried it, but you can also take 1/2 unisom before bed, along with 100 mg B6 twice a day. Ginger works really good for morning sickness to, so give that a shot.

If nothing works, talk to your doctor. They have lots of new things out now to help us pregos with ailments. Good luck!! I hope something works for you!!!

That sounds like a bunch of crap. But if you drink Ginger Rescue tea (or any tea with ginger) it seriously helps. I drank it during my pregnancy and I only had morning sickness twice.

try ginger products. listen to your body, rest, eat whatever you crave. get the band, what do you have to lose?
