Lets say out of blue....a married man is shopping at the mall & he is . approached by a gentleman and he expressed that your are a a very handsome man and he want to buy you a cup of coffee. what would you do?

I wouldn't hit him as some suggested. I would politely decline the invitation and move on.

Politely decline, only because of the handsome comment. I wouldn't want him to think I'm leading him on or anything. If we'd struck up a conversation and he'd offered, I'd probably take the cup of coffee if I had the time.

Tell him, "Why thank you. I would love a cup. My name is Snacky_Daddy and your's is?"
From there I would talk to the man for a little while and then continue with my shopping. I might even of made a new friend out of this chance meeting.

I agree with Bill. No need to be a jerk about it or lie. Just tell him no thank you and go about your business unless this turned you on like i think it might have since your having to ask other men what they would do. Maybe your a closet homo and your now ready to come out of the closet lol. If not, then do as Bill said.

Plus you know people who approach strangers in malls have a roll of duct tape and a claw hammer in their van outside.

I would say i appreciate the offer but my wife wouldn't approve. Just because you're a man doesn't mean i should feel comfortable having coffee with someone who is attracted to me. Sorry, and good luck.

As I am not in the habit of sipping a cuppa joe with strangers...especially those of the same sex, I would tell him that I'm flattered he finds me handsome...that he probably needs his eyes checked...and politely decline.
