A little bit of it all. My Mom told me what I needed to know when I was going through puberty, my father had a friend that stayed with him and my step brother got into his porn- thankfully he was still clothed when I walked in on him (that's when I learned about sperm, and where everything went). Friends talk, so picked up more there.

I remember bugging my mom about it at age 6 until I finally got an explanation about it. I don't remember when I finally understood how the 2 pieces of equipment fit together. I think I might have actually put 2 and 2 together for myself really early on. I was a precocious kid.

Back when I was a kid, there were these books called "marriage manuals" which showed diagrams and so on, and were supposed to be for idiots who got married before they knew anything. But of course it was also useful to teach the kids what's what. My mother and I went over the basics when she found me looking at the book one day. I will always be grateful that she did not pick on me for looking at her book, but instead showed me the diagrams and answered my questions.
Only thing is, I saw the cut away diagram of a penis long before I saw a real one, so I was still somewhat startled when I finally saw a real one.

All of the above, as each had a piece of the puzzle; when I put it all together, then I got a clearer picture.
Too bad the result was an alpine meadow. I wanted to really understand women

Had to learn from friends,When I would ask a question from my mom, I would get my ears boxed.I learned the dirty way from my friends and didn't have anything to do with it Then at nineteen was taken to Utopia when I learned it from a girl older than me.

My friends explained everything. So did my parents, but they were about 4 years too late.

For some reason, I've always known about them. When I was about 4, I heard my parents.... ummm, going "bump, bump" as I called it (the sound of the headboard against the wall, lol!).... and just knew what was going on. I don't know how I knew... I just knew. When my parents tried to give me "the talk" I just smiled and nodded.
