You're dead and gone and all the people around you suffer and wonder why for the rest of their lives.

When someone kills them self (commits suicide), the first thing is, there is no way to undo that act. The suicide, cannot choose to do something different later on.

The next thing is the suicide creates an empty space in the hearts and minds of those who love and care about him or her. People will miss you. They may even blame themselves for your death (even though the suicide is the only one responsible for that choice). It may have a profound effect on the lives of the people close to you. However, the effect may be positive or negative, depending on the point of view of those left alive. Some may feel that life is so terrible that suicide is the only option, and may themselves consider taking that way out. And others may feel that the fallout and pain of suicide is so negative that they would never do it and instead they dedicate the rest of their lives to educating people NOT to commit suicide. Or they go one better, creating joy and love and living an extraordinary life, so that people will be encouraged to love living, rather than try dying.

There is nothing greater than life. If there were, the church would not be saying there is life after death. They would be telling us about that other greater thing.

We will all die sooner or later. I'd just as soon have it be later so I can spend the time I have now living.

.....Ah, an easy one!

1. Your body stops functioning and who you are ceases to exist forever.

2. The people who care about you suffer the trauma of the death and grieve your tragic loss the rest of their lives.

Other than that, not much. You asked.

You die in utter disgrace.

Your family is left in shock, ridden with guilt and shame.

Suicide is a selfish act. It is also WEAK. Anyone who actually considers this must get help, if not for him or herself, then for the ones who love him or her.
