Sure, works all the time for me. Just make sure you position your head slightly to the right of the spacebar and pound vigorously for at least 10 times. Repeat several times if necessary. Don't forget to let us know how it turned out.

It depends. I personally stopped smashing my head over my keyboard for a long time, I have a very expensive and a nice keyboard, it’s a Microsoft ARC keyboard :D But sudden crashes piss me off, and some serious software problems that need fixing or even software war amongst them, they piss me off.

I took a keyboard once and just smashed it to bits on my
bench. It didn't fix the software.

Um, all your gonna do is
A) Have a major headache
B) Have a broken Keyboard
C) Still have a broken computer
I suggest finding a repair company like geek squad or if you still have a warranty from the manufacturer send it to them to get it fixed

Ok you sound like my boyfriend! No dont do that!!! If you hit your keyboard to get your PC to work and then you break your keyboard, how are you going to use it once you do get your PC to work????
