The Iraq War is like the Vietnam War in one very important way -- the mainstream liberal media has only been showing the negative aspects of the war since Day One, but this time around they're only too anxious to put a camera on any political pundit (never mind if they don't know their @$$hole from a hole in the ground) who wants to bash the war and bash the Republican President they blame for starting the whole thing. You obviously haven't done enough research to understand how these two wars are similar and how they are different. Do yourself a favor and don't believe everything that the networks like ABC, CBS, and CNN are feeding you. They have had an anti-Bush agenda ever since Dubya took the oath of office and they have an obvious anti-war agenda. Do some digging for yourself and find out the real reasons we failed to meet our objectives in Vietnam. More importantly, talk to some of the troops that have actually BEEN to Iraq and you'll see just how many lies the media is telling you...

You left out the Native American Wars, which in some respect are still being waged today. That is a war of four hundred years and it is still going strong today.
The Revolution was to force England to leave use alone.
Vietnam over oil that was not really there: and Iraq because George Bush wanted to go to war to show the world that he had the power and now he is too stupid to get us the HELL out of there.

Animal - if we went into a war that some Americans didn't want and cleaned house of an insane dictator why can't we do the same with the Iraq war? Oh that's right, our president at the time basically said, shut the hell up and fight you big sissies!

Got news for you, your facts are WAY off.

WWII was longer than both the Revolutionary War AND the Iraq War. Granted, the US didn't enter the war until 1941 but nevertheless WWII was longer than TWO of the wars you listed.

WWII - 1939-1945 - America and it's allies WON the war!

Revolution, we fought to be free from English rule
Vietnam, we went in to prevent a genocide but lost the backing on the home front so came home (we did not loose in Vietnam we quit).
Iraq, we are not invading the country we liberated it from a dictator & now we are trying to help a new government gain control from terrorists.

It doesn't matter how long a war is, you can count on liberals to whine about it. We already declared victory in Iraq didn't we? Aren't we still in Germany from WWII? Have we ever completely pulled out of Germany since WWII?

There is soooooo much in between. There is a whole war going on, it's been going on for a hundred years, to get the US to stop invading poor countries. And we will win
