Actually babies DO pee in the womb. Amniotic fluid is mostly fetal urine. They drink it and pee the entire time they are in there. They don't however (or are not supposed to) poop in there. The first feeding is what makes them start pooping, although some babies poop in the womb when in fetal distress. Hope this helps

By law any insurance that you have must cover the baby for the first 30 days but you are required to contact the insurance office and bring necessary information like a copy of birth certificate or something that validate the birth of your baby. You should then apply for social security card right away and then send them a copy of the card or the letter that validates that you have applied with the number and that it will be mailed to you in 2 weeks. Stay on top of it because sometimes they give people a hard time about what they will accept and won't accept. Good luck!

Babies have long been peeing in the womb, way before they are born. They have a bowel movement after they are born.

Babies do pee in the womb. They often also pee right after birth. It's normal.

Actually babies DO pee in the womb. They drink the ambiotic fluid and then urinate it out. Don't worry, pee is very sterile. They often pee right after birth. Boys are especially noted for fountains in the labor room.

Babies do urinate in the womb. Urine production begins late in the first trimester just about the same time the baby is scientifically promoted from being an embryo to being a fetus. The urine is passed on to mom's circulation system to dispose of. In the second 1/2 of pregnancy, a large composition of amniotic fluid is urine from the baby.

The bladder is infact fully functional in utero. Babies don't "pee" persay but they do swallow amniotic fluid in the womb which goes through their body and back into the fluid by "peeing" before they are born. It's not like ours. There's no switch to turn it on once they're born, it's already working. However, they do not poo usually until after they are born.
