Yeah, when I was a child. She said eat with mouth closed. If you want to eat like a cow then go out into the fields and chew your cud like them.

Yes, it is good etiquette. It is just gross to sit across from someone who chews with their mouth open. It makes me lose my appetite.

Oh yes...many times. I remember clearly when I learned for good: my dad was eating soft-boiled eggs. He began to chew with his mouth open just as I was (I was about 4). *gag* That was it for me. âº
