How can I check my PC motherboard if It support up to 800Mhz processor?

You mean 800mhz front side buss? Or actual core clock speed? the difficult thing about mobo's is that they have to be made compatible with certain processors, i.e. intel celeron d or intel core 2 duo or core 2 duo extreme etc. If you know what kind of MOBO you have it is easy to figure out, but if you're planning on paying some money to upgrade your computer for performance why not get a whole package. Buy a mobo with a processor, they have some great deals since the core 2 duo came out because no one really wants to buy an old technology. Therefore you can get a single core 3.2 ghz processor with 800 mhz fsb for cheap noawadays.

800mhz processor... dont waste your time with that old machine.

Nonetheless, if u really want to salvage it, check the motherboard manufacturers' website

To check this, when your computer starts, the black screen, press the pause key on your keyboard. This will pause the startup and allow u to write down the name of your motherboard and the manufacturer.

Once u have this info, then u can find the answer to your question
