They're for alot of things. You can wear them all the time to keep your underwear cleaner and fresher through the day or you can wear them the week before your period so you dont get any embarrassing leaks, you can wear them while you are wearing tampons just in case you arent able to get to a bathroom and it gets over full. Anytime you feel you might need a little more protection than just underwear can give - or extra clean freshness.

You can use them anytime, alot of women use them to keep from getting any kind of discharge on their panties. They help for women who have had children and their bladders are not what they use to be. You can use them during your period with a tampon for extra protection. Some women just feel more confident and dry with a pantyliner on and use them daily.

They are for that fresh feeling sometimes, just when there is some excess "moisture" in that area to be absored and not on the panties instead. Women know when I mean I'm sure. Do NOT use only this during a period, not enough to absorb then. Use as needed.

I always use them for the first 1 or 2 days before my period is due. I'm one of those who knows the week I'm due, but never the exact day. I also switch to them for the last day from tampons, since my last day flow is almost non-existent. I hate the feeling of having to remove a "dry tampon". It's really uncomfy!

You can use them for that or for the light days at the end of it when you don't need to use tampons or the large pads. And some times you might get a yeast infection and you use liners when you have discharge so your underwear don't get messy.

You can use them every day so that you don't dirty your underwear.. its most common to use after your period when there is still a little bit of blood..
