I signed up with verizon for dsl service. Recently someone in my household unknowingly signed up with cablevision and had them install the internet as well. Now I have two wireless routers and when I try to unplug one, the internet won't work and it's the same for the other. One can't work without the other. And now I'm afraid that if I cancel service with one provider, that I won't have internet. Why is this happening and what should I do?

Call both ISPs and beg them for a refund.
Cancel the one that cooperates.

2 wireless routers, from 2 different ISPs are completely independent of each other.
Cancel one, and i guarantee the other will still work.
If there are problems, call the ISP that u kept and ask them for help
Dont worry, this is not a problem. You probably just got confused which router was doing what. This happens to the best of us techies sometimes.
