Well, we want to be careful:

The US has been having bad foreign relations with Russia. Russia has been giving Iran nuclear secrets and other things to help them build the nuclear bomb faster. If we attack Iran, Russia may get mad and then the world will see what Russia's intentions really are.

But for the sake of Israel and those living in the Middle-East, we had better do something soon!

It won't be to long now, my brother has been in Iran for about two weeks now, he is in the navy on a destroyer, he and another destroyer were sent down to accompany two aircraft carriers. They are only doing military exercises of course! so with the ships and troops already there doing exercises, I don't think it will be long. I believe we will have Israel attack them first, so we can be the hero's and come to the rescue, that way we don't look like the bad guys!

That would be the worst thing that ever could be done. The forces are stretched to the limit now with Iraq and Afghanistan.
Iran is twice the size of Iraq and has had since '88 to rearm after its 8 year scrap with Iraq.
The US should have realised the tenacity of the Iraqi's and the Iranians are equally tenacious, and there are more of them.

When we can afford to. Right now we can barely afford to finish off our Iraq War. How do you think we're going to pay for a war with a much better-prepared Iran? It's gung-ho nonsense thinking like "let's stop messin' around" that got us into all this trouble in the first place.

Not until they attack us. After all, we did nothing during the 70s and the Iran Hostage crisis. Why should they think we'll be proactive now?

Soon as Iraq is all settled up. That should be in about 10-15 years!

Yeah, that would be awesome. It would be just like when Nazi Germany got the Czech Republic and Austria, but then attacked Poland and started WW2. Except this time, we're the Nazis! Awesome!
