I don't know what you guys think but in my opinion the last good superbowl was New England vs. Carolina. Thats the last one that I can actually remember being on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. I mean really, what have we had since then? Completely one sided matches no matter who it is. The closest one I could even think of that had potential since then was Philadelphia and New England which even that one pretty much everyone knew the Eagles would be able to hold their own but really didn't have much of a shot at a win without a healthy Terrell Owens. I mean yeah it was a good game for the most part but it had one of those endings where you knew it was over with like 2 minutes left. Carolina and New England put on a show man! Delhomme vs. Brady was by far one of the best QB match ups I've seen in a long time at a superbowl. I don't know what do you guys think? What are your favorite superbowls?

Yeah thats the biggest problem, the AFC is just too good and the NFC just cant even compete yet. Heres to the day that we no longer consider the AFC championship as our superbowl.

Honestly. That one wasnt even that great to me. For me it goes back to the Rams/ Titans. A game that literally went down to the last play of the game. I think for the game to be interesting they need to take away those silly rules about celebrations. Celebrations make the game more interesting because one the celebrations are funny and two they get the other team mad enough to want to knock the snot out of the guy that dissed them. Which makes for great entertainment. Also, the refs have way to much control over the outcome of the game. I am not a Seahawks fan but come on. We all know Big Ben didnt get in. I know I am going to get slammed for that one.

For a Super Bowl to interesting, the teams have to be evenly matched.
That being said, there are no complete teams in the NFC. But in the AFC, you have San Diego, NE, and Indianapolis. So there is no close matchups between teams in the Super Bowl. Watch the AFC Championship Game it is way better. Pats vs. Colts last year was way better than the Super Bowl.
As for favorites, I liked Rams vs. Titans, Broncos vs. Packers, or Giants vs. Bills.

Last second endings sure help, but that Eagles/Pats game wasn't over until Rodney Harrison sealed it with an INT. And let's not forget that the whole first 25 minutes of the NE/CAR game was the most boring super bowl stretch ever until they exploded in the last few minutes of the first half. The NFL had a good matchup last year. One of the league's biggest fan bases against the biggest player in the game. Last year's Super Bowl was one of the biggest ever, and would've been better if not for the rain

The last great (non-homer) one for me was the Titans vs. Rams, it came down to the last play and was decided by one yard.

Cheers!
